*Bourbon Ginger Pecan*
This pie won the top prize at the 1st Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off, which inspired me to start my business.
Toasted pecans, maple syrup, ginger (fresh, ground, and crystallized), and a healthy dose of the finest bourbon make this pie a very special treat!

*Shoo-Fly Pie*
Molasses syrup is poured into a single pie crust, mixed with streusel-esque crumbs of brown sugar, flour, and butter, and baked until set. Mine lies somewhere between a wet-bottom and dry-bottom crust, with the delicious molasses syrup infusing the crust while still being firm enough to slice. If you've never experienced this treat, and like the taste of molasses (and BROWN BUTTER!), you have got to give this a try.

*Apple Cheddar Pie*
Why add a slice of cheese when it's already in there for you? My interpretation of this classic features a variety apples from local New York farms, with classic spices, a splash of Calvados, and a flaky double crust with delicious cheddar cheese shredded into it. A perfect pairing!

*Sweet Potato Pie*
Not just for Thanksgiving! I love this pie year-round, with its beautiful orange hue and its not-too sweet spiced flavor. Mine is sweetened with maple syrup (the real stuff, of course), a hint of molasses, and gets an extra layer of warmth from a bit of dark rum. Yum.

*Shaker Citrus Pie*
In your choice of classic lemon, tart grapefruit, or zesty lime, this pie takes full advantage of all the wonderful winter citrus. Paper-thin slices of citrus fruits are macerated overnight in sugar, and then baked within a double butter crust. Sweet, tart, delicious!

Spicy Hot Chocolate Pie
A gingersnap crust is dusted lightly with cayenne, and filled with a chile-and-cinnamon-spiked dark chocolate ganache.
A topping of cinnamon whipped cream cools down all that heat!

Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Pie
In this icebox pie, a crunchy, salty pretzel crust is filled with light, fluffy peanut butter cream, and topped with a thin glaze of dark chocolate. It's a trifecta of flavor - also delicious frozen!

Root Beer Cream Pie
Like a root beer float, in pie form! This is modeled on a standard cream pie, but with some fun twists. The crust is made of Nilla Wafers and gingersnaps, filled with a delicious root beer custard, and then topped with a root beer and vanilla infused whipped cream.

S'mores Pie
This crowd-pleaser features a graham cracker crust, filled with creamy milk chocolate ganache and topped with handmade toasted marshmallow fluff. All the fun of camping without the bugs and rain!

Jay's Apple Cider Cream Pie
This recipe, created by my boyfriend Jay Horton, won Best Sweet Pie at the 1st Annual Brooklyn Pie Bake-Off. A flaky crust is filled with creamy custard infused with New York's finest apple cider, and then topped with cinnamon whipped cream.  A true winner!
